Economic reality and a new normal

According to Mike Schüssler of economists.co.za the economic figures for the month of June gives a much more realistic picture of the extent to which the Covid-19 pandemic has played havoc in the South African economy.

According to Schüssler it is much worse than anticipated.

Essentialism

Many people I know are “people pleasers” to a greater or lesser extent. Are you one of them?

Unfortunately people pleasers tend to over commit themselves because they find it hard to say “no.”

After the 2008 financial crisis Jim Collins wrote How the Mighty Fall, a book which looked into the reasons for the failure of many established companies.
