A penny for your thoughts

In his book Thinking for a change John Maxwell asks the question why some people are more successful than others?

Two Perspectives

He then tells a story of a man with two daughters, the one 21 years old and the other 25. The 21 year old daughter applied to a university to study Pharmacy. On hearing that she was accepted she was elated, but her 25 year old sister bemoaned the fact that her sister needs to go to school for four more years.

Purpose: The “why” behind everything you do

Do you sometimes experience that an appeal is made on you to partake in, or attend a certain meeting or event that you are not super excited about? Mission: How do I get there from here?

A traveller on a farm road asked a passer-by the directions to get to a certain farm. After thinking for a while the passer-by started to give directions and then stopped. He then told the driver that perhaps he should take another route and started to give new directions. Then he stopped again to reconsider and then gave directions for yet another route. When he stopped the third time the passer-by concluded with; ”Sir, I think you cannot drive to that farm from here.”
